Memories from our Senior Year
Here we go. This is scheduled to be a diary of what we remember from our senior year - 1971-1972. The intent is to start this around the time of the first football practice in mid-August. The first pieces will be from my diary. I only wrote a couple of sentences each day and most were about things that I did outside of school. So there will only be minimal references to school activities that I was involved in. Please write comments about these and anything else that you can remember from that year. We need your school related memories: art, vocal music, cheerleading, band, etc. to make this interesting and worthwhile. Since our memories are all a bit hazy at this point, please try to keep the comments positive (funny is good). I reserve the right to edit anything that may be considered negative to others in the class. Overall, let's just have some fun remembering what happened.

I remember August 1971 was spent at Seiler's swiming in their pond and playing ping pong in the kennel. Nessler, Seiler, and I were the main swimmers. We would go to Jac and Does for a pizza most Sunday evenings after swimming. Maybe play some Putt Putt next door to Jac and Does. Magic Carpet Ride on the juke box, I think it was G7.
ReplyDeleteI remember going to Fense's to play ping pong most nights during football season and really all year long. We had some very competitive matches, sometimes with other people like Dukes stopping by for doubles and Fense's parents were always such gracious hosts. I loved them and still do.
